Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable and reliable backend systems, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross- functional teams to deliver high-quality products.As a backend developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and services
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code using modern backend technologies
- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver seamless solutions
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes
- Ensure data protection and security best practices
- Maintain documentation and contribute to system architecture discussions
Ideal Candidate:
- 1–4 years of experience in backend development
- Proficient in one or more backend languages such as Rust, C++, Node.js,
- Python, Java, Go, Ruby, or PHP,
- Experience with frameworks like Express.js, Django, Spring Boot, etc.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and
- asynchronous programming
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL
- databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes
- is a plus)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security best
- practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Understanding of serverless architectures and GraphQL (nice to have)
